Our Strategy and Performance
Our 2020-23 strategy was developed collaboratively with all school Principals and representatives of the Board, Academy Council Chairs, Executive Team and members. We had expert input from Sir David Carter, Executive Director, Ambition Institute and former National Schools Commissioner and Chris Kirk Associates, who have contributed to research on the effectiveness of multi-academy trusts across the country.
All staff within the Trust and members of Academy Councils were consulted on the strategy, before it was approved by the Board in October 2020.
The strategy outlines the Trust’s vision - opening minds, raising expectation, transforming lives – and our values of wisdom, ambition, trust, unity and faith. It sets ambitious goals for pupil outcomes, school improvement, staff engagement and growth over three years. There are seven strategic priorities to deliver these goals on: leadership and governance; assessment and curriculum; subject communities; maximising pupil progress; recruiting, developing and retaining the best people; growth; and efficient and effective shared services.
There is a separate implementation plan associated with the strategy.
